We, as an external recruitment organization, are searching for an experienced and ambitious Manager Engineering & Maintenance for a renowned company operating in the production of paint, plastics, and pre-deco products. In this role, you will have the opportunity to be part of the Management Team and the crisis team of the location, and you will be responsible for optimizing and maintaining location premises, buildings, and machinery, as well as leading technical investment projects.

Salary:

• Gross annual salary including 8% holiday allowance: € 94,921 (max)
• Fixed bonus of 8.33% based on annual salary
• 46 vacation days

Job Description:

• You will develop technical investment plans and provide advice on them, being responsible for the management and coordination of technical investment projects. This includes selecting suppliers, assessing quotations, and outsourcing tasks.
• Together with the Manager Manufacturing Unit, you will translate the multi-year maintenance plan into an annual plan, incorporating costs into the annual site budget.
• You ensure technical safety by organizing and coordinating periodic safety inspections in collaboration with external parties.
• In collaboration with the technical department, including the use of external parties when necessary, you ensure that machines, installations, buildings, and premises operate optimally and safely.
• You establish regulations related to technical, technical-economic, and/or environmental aspects in line with applicable laws and company guidelines, and ensure compliance with them.
• You provide leadership in a respectful and motivating manner, encouraging the targeted development of employees to create an engaged and responsible technical team.
• You are responsible for requesting and submitting investment projects using the designated program, including the necessary supporting documents, to ensure production continuity and employee safety.
• As the person in charge of site security, you ensure that all activities are carried out in accordance with applicable HSE guidelines, rules, procedures, standard operating procedures, and ergonomic guidelines.

Requirements:

• You have a relevant technical education at the HBO or WO level.
• You have extensive experience in engineering, maintenance, and project management.
• Knowledge of regulations in the field of technical safety and the environment is required.
• You possess excellent leadership skills and can promote team development.
• With your strong communication skills, you can collaborate effortlessly with various stakeholders. * Resilience and flexibility to respond to incidents or security aspects outside regular working hours when necessary.
