Key Responsibilities:

As a Software Engineer specializing in Typescript, XML/XSLT, and DevOps, your role will encompass:
Technical Solutions Development: Spearhead the development and enhancement of technical solutions services. Your work directly impacts millions of Dutch viewers and listeners by ensuring seamless access to the public broadcaster's content.
24x7 Solution Availability: Take responsibility for maintaining round-the-clock availability of these solutions. Collaborate closely with your team to conceptualize technical designs and create innovative services. Additionally, oversee the technology stack associated with these solutions.
DevOps Process Management: Lead the implementation of DevOps processes within the team. Collaborate with data delivery teams and internal/external stakeholders within the company who utilize the services you help develop.
Technology Stack:

Our development ecosystem encompasses the following components:

Languages: Typescript
Data Streaming: Kafka, GraphQL
Infrastructure as Code: Terraform
AWS Components: AWS Lambda (Serverless Computing), DynamoDB, AWS Managed Kafka (MKS)
Version Control: Git, CodePipeline, CodeDeploy, SonarQube
Atlassian Tools: JIRA, Confluence, Bitbucket

Qualifications:

To thrive in this role, you should possess the following qualifications:

Educational Background:

Minimum HBO working and thinking level.
Experience: At least 2 years of experience in designing, developing, and managing data processing systems, preferably in event streaming contexts.
Technological Proficiency: Familiarity with the mentioned technologies or a strong aptitude for quickly acquiring this knowledge.
Communication Skills: Strong communication abilities.
Collaborative Team Player: A team player who actively contributes to the self-improvement of the DevOps/SCRUM team.
