Technical Analyst

Location: Sydney CBD, New South Wales Salary: competitive

I am looking for a Technical Analyst for an initial 6 month contract for one of my large clients based in Sydney CBD.

The role will be responsible for supporting the data governance stream focusing on data quality. The technical analyst will report to the Data Governance Lead and will work with the data stewards and the business to understand the information assets and develop the data quality rules and metrics to scorecard the critical data elements across the organisations various service lines and subject areas.

1. The technical analyst will use Informatica Developer to develop a robust data quality capability to support the data quality framework. This will involve building rules-based data profiling jobs involving multiple tables and complex conditional logic to profile the data and create executive level dashboards to provide scorecards on the level of data quality and provide exception reporting highlighting data quality errors.

2. The technical analyst will use Informatica Metadata Manager to create and manage a metadata repository containing metadata from various data assets, including the relevant data linage across these data sources to the Enterprise Data Warehouse (EDW)

3. The technical analyst will provide first level support to our data stewards in their use of the Informatical Analyst, Informatica Developer and Business Glossary applications and use.

· Functional responsibility for the Informatica Data Quality Platform
· Delivery of data quality rules, metrics and dashboards
· Regular reporting of data quality issues to Data Governance lead
