A leading tech company are seeking a Software Engineer to join their team in Edinburgh, Scotland. If you have the ability to maintain and develop an automated test and release platform, then you could be the Software Engineer that we're looking for.

What will you be doing?

As a Software Engineer, you'll display excellent communication skills when working alongside internal customers in order to integrate a varied range of test applications into the company's automated test platform. Your skills will be put to use when working on the definition and management of appropriate testing and when ensuring that the in-house test and regression system is up to date and fit for purpose. Furthermore, you'll display initiative when suggesting technical changes or process improvements for the automated test infrastructure, ultimately improving the service for users.

What skills/experience should you have?

  • BA / BSc degree within a relevant discipline
  • Knowledge of Python and C++
  • Ability to use source control systems (ideally Git)
  • Understanding of automated test environments (e.g. Jenkins)

Although knowledge of the above technologies would be preferable, if you can display alternative experience with similar relevant languages, then this would also be acceptable.
