Mechanical Hydralic Engineer

An established engineering company have an immediate requirement for a Hymech Engineer to join their team on a 6 month contract basis. If you have experience within a mechanical engineering role with good working knowledge of hydraulics and Subsea control module, then you may be the Engineer we're looking for.

What will you be doing?

As a Mechanical Engineer, you'll be responsible for working on the full product lifecycle of safety assessments, including developing products through both the design review and tollgate process. You'll apply knowledge of pressure containing and retaining components within the equipment, as well as API 17F/ISO 13628-6 and other Subsea specific standards.

What skills/experience should you have?

  • Significant experience working in a Subsea Production Controls group
  • Previous experience working as a mechanical engineer
  • Diploma or degree qualification in mechanical engineering
  • Experience in the design and development of Subsea Control Module, HPUs and Fixed/Flying plates
