GDPR Consultant

It's a great pleasure to be able to present this opportunity for the role of GDPR consultant with a brilliant IT security consultancy client of mine based in London.

My client is a leader in IT auditing and risk based IT management practices, working with some of the UK and the globes most prestigious companies driving the production of strategic plans, governance frameworks and IT policies as well as overseeing project assurance initiatives within a range of FTSE100 organisations.

As a GDPR Consultant you will work closely with senior stakeholders at enterprise-scale organisations to ensure that all customer, partner, and third party information is adequately protected. Be this via initial Gap analysis, assessing security frameworks or conducting PIA's. Two days will rarely be the same.

Due to the level you'll be operating at and the clients you'll be engaging with my client has outlined a need for roughly 10 years relevant hands on experience.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Internal audit, risk or compliance exposure
  • Experience of ISO27001, ITIL, DPA/GDPR, BCM, PRINCE2
  • Will be a "Safe pair of hands", showing ability to get on and deliver with minimal oversight.
  • An experienced practitioner with a years of hands on experience under your belt.

Culture fit is extremely important to my client and so they'll be keen to meet and conduct interviews at earliest convenience.

This is a brilliant long term contract engagement, giving you some exposure to fantastic FTSE100 companies and the client has expressed an interest in transition to permanent for those who've performed come the end of the contract.
