A thriving component manufacturer in Sussex are seeking an Offline Programmer to join their team. Do you have hands-on experience working with an automotive, mechanical or defence company? If so, then you may be the Programmer we're looking for.
What will you be doing?
As an Offline Programmer, you'll be responsible for programming a number of machines when they are offline within a hub. You'll have the ability to perform prototyping and will set up the machines for production. In addition to this, you'll produce machining tooling sheets, planning and design fixtures.
What skills/experience should you have?
- Experience within an automotive, mechanical and defence company
- Experience using Autodesk FeatureCAM (advantageous)
- An understanding of complex aluminium, iron and steel prototype castings
