Robotic Process Automation Developer - 3 - 6 month contract - Melbourne CBD

Progressive, in partnership with one of our clients are currently on the lookout for a Robotic Process Automation Developer. The RPA Developer's role will be to support robotic process automation projects through the scope, design and implementation and technical training phases and to proactively support the identification of new process automation opportunities. You will be placed with the logistics teams reporting directly into an inventory project leader.

Role: Robotic Process Automation Developer

Location: Melbourne CBD

Tenure: 3-6 months


What your day to day duties would look like:

  • Maintain alignment to project requirements by reviewing input data and output requirements
  • Assist with preparation of reference tools for users by writing operating instructions
  • Actively contribute to project team effort by accomplishing key metrics/ targets


Essential skills and requirements:

  1. Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident
  2. Knowledge of RPA tools - Ui Path, Automation Anywhere and Blue prism (preferred)
  3. Robotic Software Automation design and development knowledge
  4. Experience in project execution
  5. Experience in programming languages
  6. SAP/Siebel ERP Systems skills
  7. Visual basic for applications
  8. Advanced PC skills (Visio, Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project)
  9. Ability to deploy solutions using agile/scrum methodologies

Good to have:

  • Ability to map out processes in a logical manner
  • Trouble shooting experience
  • The ability to work under pressure and solve complex problems
