A leading global PLC recruitment company in London are seeking a Project Management Office Lead. This is an exceptional opportunity to join the Leadership Team of our recently established Global Consulting Services business. The PMO lead is required to build out and lead a PMO function that will oversee customer delivery of our growing portfolio of technology and business change focused services, for the UK initially and then Europe. If you can demonstrate customer focused project/service delivery, ideally some experience of PMO set up, a commitment to great customer service and a high level of ambition, then you could be the Project Management Office Lead we are looking for.

What will you be doing?

As the PMO Lead you will work closely with our Business Leads, Customers and on-site Project Leads to ensure that every customer engagement we have is based on well qualified requirements, well defined deliverable and a sound project / resourcing plan. You will ensure that the PMO is effectively tracking the progress status of every project and reporting out on delivery and financial status. Whilst the PMO function is being developed and built out under your leadership you will be required to directly support the above requirements.

What skills/experience should you have?

  • Experience working as a Project Manager/PMO Lead with ideally customer facing with experience of Technology & or Business Change projects.
  • Experience of requirements definition, project and resource planning
  • Strong commercial acumen including project level P&L management
  • Excellent Stakeholder Management and Communications skills
  • Pragmatic leader, prepared to be flexible around personal work requirements as the PMO function is developed.
