Manager Red/Purple team

Location: Amsterdam, North Holland Salary: €100000 - €120000 per annum + car
Sector: IT Type: Permanent

This position will manage a team of 13 who are highly technical:
*Penetration testers
*Ethical hackers
*Red team
*Purple team

Your goal is to lead and built a talented team of professionals tasked with raising the security bar of my client through vulnerability discovery, disclosure and mitigation. This role presents the ultimate test of one's security knowledge, the challenge of building and running a team with high visibility throughout my client, and the opportunity to lead/ mentor and grow a group of highly talented security professional
This team will be part of a global Cyber Command Center and it plays a vital role in keeping the teams sharp against the world threats, and you will be focusing on the security strategy.

Principal Accountabilities


30% of your time, you will dealing with:
Together with the CISO you're constantly developing the cyber security strategy
You will own the security technology roadmap
You will create vision for the team and plans to continue to mature the team capabilities

40% of your time, you will dealing with:
Establish measures on the performance and effectiveness of the engagements
Establish and execute engagement methodologies and infrastructure
Serve as the subject matter expert for the broader CISO function
Supervise execution of vendor services tied to this team

30% of your time, you will dealing with:
Performance management,
Talent development
Succession planning
Manages and provides coaching to direct reports
Building and maintaining a sustainable business relationship of stakeholders.
Partners with our threat Intel, hunt, detection and response teams

Must have
Red teaming experience, background in penetration testing, technical background (OCSP, CEH, Ethical Hacking, Offensive Security Practitioner), experience in managing global projects

Required Qualifications
(CISA / CISSP certification/ Offensive Security Certified Professional (OSCP)/ SANS/ CISM)
Bachelor's degree or Masters degree
Thought leadership via well-known publications
10 years of relevant working experience in the domain of information security
Experienced in setting up and managing RED or Purple Teams
Experienced in managing teams and with global projects
Knowledge and work experience of Ethical Hacking and threat detection or Security monitoring
Experience in incident management and response is a plus
Problem solving attitude and interpersonal skills
Flexible to work with global teams and working on different time zones
Business fluency in English
Ability to travel globally up to 20%
