Front End Developer

Location: Leeds, West Yorkshire Salary: £400 - £450 per day + Negotiable

My client a leading Entertainment company in Leeds are looking for the very best Front End Developers to provide quality and rapidly develop new features to launch new, industry leading company products.

Our partner are willing to pay attractive rates (with some upward flex for exemplary candidates), on an initial 6 month basis with expected extensions. Candidates need to be able to start within the next two weeks.

The responsibilities:

  • Development of high quality code, whilst working on large scalp-able systems. Supporting on client-side areas of company products, which are ever expanding.
  • Develop new features and functionality, launching new products
  • Producing excellent, testable code, whilst following coding standards of the company and development approaches
  • Give innovative ideas to problems and issues, whilst willing to listen to others round you.

The essentials:

  • Strong experience with JavaScript- either React or Angular, experience of Vanilla would be an added bonus
  • Demonstrable experience in the full Software Life-cycle, which includes; coding reviews, reviews, and source control, build structures, QA and operations.
  • Working in an agile companies & teams (Scrum / SAFE etc).
  • Commercial experience with build automation and CI .
  • Unit test experience using JavaScript (using the likes of Jasmine.
  • HTML, CSS, Less / SaaS
