Contract Workshop Supervisor/ Offshore Field tech/ Service Supervisor

Supporting an expanding company with their offices based North of Aberdeen, we are looking for a Workshop Supervisor/ Offshore Field tech/ Service Supervisor.

Our client opened in 2011 and since then have grown from North America's to now opening Aberdeenshire offices. They focus on providing equipment into the oil, natural gas, geothermal, and mining industries. What makes our client different to others is they also work with innovate machinery to produce very precise products & services. It is not expected you have experience in this very niche field, and training will be given

It is expected that you have experience with Cutting tools (Grinders, Diamond wire cutters and jetters etc) , decommissioning or rig up experience but a good offshore technician experience as a whole.

Attitude is very important ant for our client. The challenges will be varied , it is expected you will fix problems by working with resources available internally and externally ( i.e contacting a fabricator or third party to support with something)

The client's preference is someone with a Mechanical bias as they have just hired an electrical and a hydraulic tech.

Interview slots for available for this week, and we need someone to start with within the next 2 weeks. Rate: £27 per hour, overtime available. Trips offshore every Quarter ( you need to have your Certs, or get them within the next 6 weeks). The role is expected to run 6-12 months.
