Business Domain Architect

I'm currently looking for a Business Domain Architect with digital experience for a 6 months contract based in Sydney Olympic park starting ASAP. Role Purpose:

Translate business strategy, practices and processes into enterprise services architecture to enable delivery of appropriate solutions. Using architectural models or views that show how the current and future needs of the business will be met in an efficient, sustainable, agile, and adaptable manner. Deliver and update enterprise services architecture that supports the most efficient and secure IT environment meeting business needs. Ensure clarity of how technology underpins enterprise services strategy. Act as a Lead Architect for assigned projects, initiatives and for their domains

Experience needed:

  • Strong Digital Knowledge / experience
  • Create enterprise services architecture strategy and contribute insights to establishing and reviewing the architecture
  • Ensures the business obtains the greatest value from technology
  • Establish policy and strategy for the selection of systems architecture components
  • Lead the development of Enterprise Services architectures for complex systems, ensuring consistency with specified requirements agreed with both external, and internal customers
  • Manage the target design, policies and standards, ensures consistency to architecture of design across projects within the program
  • Manage & coordinate resources to define optimal business innovation through technology
  • Engage directly with Business Partners and IT teams to identify benefits of potential changes to architecture and ensure these are captured and monitored
  • Undertake architecture impact analysis on major design options and assess and manage associated risks
  • Assist in development of domain architecture advice on technical aspects of system development, business process, estimation and integration
  • Translate business and domain strategies into architecture that is technically feasible and commercially viable
  • Ensure that solutions align with domain and enterprise architectures
  • Engage the governance process to effectively manage deviation to strategy
  • Apply technology trends as relevant for Enterprise Services innovation
