The Analytical Assay group is part of the Analytical Development (AD) group and is responsible for developing analytical methods that are employed for the analysis and biophysical characterisation of virus based vaccines. Product analysis includes tests for quantity, potency, purity, and identity, but also detailed structural characterisation of vaccines. The Analytical Development group, which is part of the pharmaceutical and analytical department, has a pivotal role between the regulatory authorities quality unit and process development. In addition, the AD department supports other departments (formulation, (Upstream and Downstream) process development) by routine sample analysis.
The client is looking for a motivated Assistant Scientist who enjoys working in a multidisciplinary team. Your main responsibilities will be the development and validation of analytical methods used for release and physicochemical characterisation of clinical trial material, as well as providing theoretical and hands on expertise in developing analytical methods suitable for process development and stability assessment. Connecting with experts and effectively leveraging knowledge of others will be important to meeting project and budget expectations.
- Minimal Bachelor's or Master's degree in Analytical chemistry or a related field.
- 1-3 years relevant working experience.
- Practical skills and knowledge of analytical techniques for bio-molecule analysis are required.
- Experience in LC, CE, FFF-MALS, DLS, and AUC is preferred.
- Experience in working industry, method development, GMP or at a ML-2+ laboratory or higher are considered advantageous.
