IT Support engineer

We are looking for a IT support engineer to join the infrastructure IT department of an international company.

Your job is considered as critical because you are representing the first line to collect all IT problems and incidents encountered inside the company.

IT Support engineer - your job

For IT problems not covered by your immediate skills, you can rely on help of external specialists and you can collaborate together to follow problems resolution with them until full recovery; You will benefit from an active training on all our supported systems and you should be able to address the problem to the right group if you are not able to solve it yourself ;

You will have to proactively monitor control systems to prevent critical situation; You have to report securities weaknesses to your IT manager and participate to security trainings & procedures, ;

As a IT Support engineer within the IT team, you will share your time between:

  • The follow-up (phone, mails, helpdesk system interface) of various users IT problems and incidents
  • You will log & prioritize system & user support calls
  • You will give internal users support in an open-door policy
  • You will work with Microsoft office tools
  • You will work with Cisco network
  • Troubleshooting

IT Support engineer - your skills :

  • You have experience in a similar position
  • You have an excellent level of English
  • You are customer focused and have good communication skills
  • You are open to creativity
  • You are able to quickly adapt to new situations / technologies - dynamic environment
  • You are open minded, friendly, self-evaluating and having a great sense of responsibility
  • You are passionate about technology and innovations

Education :
You have a Bachelor in IT or similar by experience and you have followed ITIL courses

*40h/week

*5 days/week

* Located in Brussels + some travels in other countris

* full salary package
