Senior Electrical Engineer (PR-34145795)

Responsible for managing and coordinating the technical aspects of renewable energy projects, from development to construction completion and ongoing operations support. Working as part of a collaborative Electrical Engineering team, you will interface with internal teams such as Development, Transmission, Construction, and Operations. You will also oversee major technical issues, manage the delivery of technical concepts and engineering designs, and coordinate and oversee third-party electrical engineering and design work.

Title: Senior Electrical Engineer
Location: Preference- Charlottesville, VA - Open to Remote hire for qualified applicants

Requirements:
* Bachelor's degree in EE or a related field. Advanced degree is a plus.
* 4 Years minimum proven experience in managing technical aspects of renewable energy projects, particularly in substations with renewable energy power plants
* Strong knowledge of electrical engineering principles, renewable energy systems, and relevant industry standards
* Familiarity with Load Flow, Short circuit studies, power system modeling
* PSCAD for analysis and simulation

* Experience with Collection systems for PV array
* Familiarity with SEL devices for protection and control
* Experience with creating and managing schematic drawings for electrical systems and components
* Experience working with high voltage equipment, including circuit breakers and transformers.
