Purpose:
GTE is responsible to perform federally mandated inspection and repair projects/activities on Gas Transmission pipelines under Integrity Management Program (IMP). Under this IMP, GTE performs External Corrosion Direct Assessment (ECDA) and In-Line Inspections (ILI) to inspect the pipeline and then performs a through data review to identify integrity issues on the pipeline to remediate. These IMP projects requires excavations over high pressure gas transmission pipelines to give access to the inspection and repair crews.

Inspector's Responsibility:
Oversee excavation crews during excavation.
Check necessary OQs of the excavation crews.
Oversee 3rd party inspection/testing crew's activity over transmission mains inside the excavation.
Maintain daily log including site condition pictures and run safety brief
Report this report and any concerns to GTE

Required:
- Candidate will need to obtain NGA Operator Qualifications (OQs) as specified by manager. This will be sponsored by Client

Main Experience on Gas Transmission Pipes, Inspecting Gas Transmission Pipes.
