4 Project Engineering opportunities available with a 6-month contract to hire set up:

PE - Civil:

Responsible for the coordination and execution of civil & structural engineering in both Air Insulated Switchgear (AIS), Gas Insulated Switchgear (GIS), and Flexible AC Transmission System (FACTS) projects in the 34.5kV - 500kV range with an emphasis on project safety, cost, quality and reliability. Must be familiar with the nuances associated with civil & structural engineering and design of AIS substations (as a minimum), but preferably also GIS substations and FACTS solutions. The Project Engineer - Civil reports to the Manager of Civil and Structural Engineering.

PE - Substation P&C:

Planning, design and technical coordination of the P&CM systems for Substations & Industrial projects. Detail electrical design for interface engineering of P&CM & Automation Systems with HV apparatus, MV & LV switchgears, communication architecture, Telecommunication, Instrumentation, SCADA Systems and AC/DC Auxiliary Systems. As a member of the engineering team, the candidate will produce engineering deliverables such as AC/DC schematics, cable list, wiring diagrams, specifications and interact with the other project team members, the customer, and suppliers of goods and engineering services.

PE- Grid Integration:

* Your main task will be working with the Electro-Mechanical or primary/physical design for our Grid Integration, supporting both tenders and projects

* Preparation of HV/MV Substation Layout (Yard Arrangement - Layout & Plan, Electrical HV / EHV Clearance Check)

* Preparation of Substation Control Building Layout (Electrical Cubicles, Thyristors, Pump skid Arrangement)

* Preparation of Cable Trench & Conduit Layout

* Preparation of Grounding & Lightning Protection Calculations and Layouts * Preparation of Busbar system data, Ampacity, cantilever & Magnetic Field Calculations

* 3DModeling of plant in Revit

* Collaborate with colleagues both locally and globally and close coordination with multiple disciplines (System Engineering, Electrical Engineering and Civil Engineering)

* Technical review and discussion with customers, suppliers, and subcontractors

* Ensuring adherence to safety standards and mitigation of potential risks

Lead Engineer:

Responsible for the engineering, coordination and execution of all engineering disciplines for FACTS and HV/MV substation projects, with an emphasis on project safety, cost, quality and reliability. The main purpose of this position is to plan and technical lead for all Engineering disciplines - evaluates, selects and applies standard techniques, procedures and criteria to perform task or sequence of tasks, for conventional projects with few complex features. Executes assignments using established solutions.
