PQA Technician (030223)
Duties:
This position will involve supporting electrical panel work before going into field. This includes, but is not limited, to checking wire, switches, quality review from schematics, total panel overview, reliability, microprocessors, etc. Everything will be communicated and coordinated with field engineers. Each employee will be expected to understand client's programs/process. Duties will include, but are not limited to, responding to work orders, diagnosing, dismantling, replacing worn parts (bearings/rollers/shafts) and testing equipment.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Some college or technical certification is a plus
- 3+ years of experience working with control/service panels
- Experience with fuse boxes, fuse panels, and circuit breakers is a plus
- Ability to read, interpret, and analyze diagrams/blueprints/schematics
- Experience troubleshooting electrical components
- PLC Troubleshooting 500/5000 preferred
- Experience troubleshooting and repairing mechanical functions (hydraulics, pneumatics, and gauges for example)
- Any preventative maintenance experience is a plus
- Wiring experience preferred
- Good computer skills: Outlook, Word, Excel preferred
- Ability to work with customers and others as a team member
- Ability to prioritize and organize work
- Effective, proactive oral and written communication skills
