Responsibilities:

  • Be a part of the Central Design Organization by supporting oversight of AE work and serve as SME in preparation, revision and verification of Standard Design Processes and evaluations.
  • Electrical technical evaluations
  • Preparation, revision, and verification of Standard Design Process
  • Preparations and verifications of electrical design calculations and analysis
  • Oversight of AE
  • Procedural compliance
  • Cross functional collaboration and multi-discipline tasks

Requirements:

  • Engineering Degree from ABET College
  • 5+ years exp. in related field
  • Must understand Standard Design Process
    • Industry design experience- IPENG 0001
    • Preparation, revision, and verification of SDP
    • Preparation and verification of calculations
  • 10 CFR 50.59 Screening and evaluations
  • Must have nuclear background and experience.
  • ETap exp is huge benefit but not mandatory.
  • Excellent communication skills- oral and written.
  • Must have experience with Design Change Packages
  • Familiar with electrical calculations (cable sizing, loop, report wiring, Etc.)
  • Familiar with reading diagrams and drawings (connection, wiring, single line, grounding,
  • Experience with design specifications
  • Ability to work on site.
  • Must be adaptable to a quick changing environment
