Responsibilities:

  • Be a part of the Central Design Organization by supporting design change packages, temp modifications, technical analysis, and screening and evaluations in accordance with CFR.
  • Digital Technical Evaluations and analysis
  • Digital Equipment configuration
  • Design change reviews and acceptance
  • Digital determinations
  • Digital accessibility
  • Cross functional collaboration and multi-discipline tasks w/ systems engineering team
  • Ability to work OT

Qualifications:

  • Engineering Degree from ABET College
  • Minimum 10 years exp. in related field
  • Must have exp with Standard Design Process and design basis.
    • BWR processes and procedures
    • Calculations, revisions, preparation
    • Capture configuration
  • Must have NISP-EN-04 digital mod guidance exp.
  • with Standard Design Experience
  • Must have DCS or PLC systems exp.
  • Must have Nuclear background and experience
  • Excellent communication skills- oral and written
  • Must have experience with Design Change Packages
  • Must have experience with Capital Modification upgrades
    • Acceptance packages
    • Design change packages
    • Temp mods/plant mod packages
  • Experience with design specifications
  • Ability to work on site
  • Must be adaptable to a quick changing environment
