Analyst (PR-34167429)

Progressive Global Energy is working with a large utility client that has a large number of projects that need to be completed over the next few years within the electrical distribution team.

This position is remote and includes benefits and laptop and pay ranges $55- 65 per hour based on experience level.

Employees will be responsible for project support in all aspects of cost analysis of given projects from inception to closeout.

• Utilize Excel to manage and track project financials.
• Monitor and update budgets and forecasts toward achieving the desired project completion.
• Meet with other stakeholders to gather and provide necessary information.
• Understand the scope and resources needed to complete the task.
• Resolve any unexpected technical difficulties, and other problems that may arise.

Candidate Background

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, architecture, construction management, business, business administration, or a related major
• Seven (7) years of related experience including cost control and analysis.
• Utility background - knows the project development / capital investment cycle
• Financial Analysis - budgets, forecasting, analysis, some variance analysis
• Needs to know Access and Excel well
• Use Power BI for more data visualization
• Bring new ideas to the table
• Strong communication skills and problem-solving skills are a plus.
