SThree Hires Staffing Industry Veteran Dan Turner as COO, Americas
Turner Will Play a Critical Role in Enabling Organization-Wide Business Transformation and Increased North American Market Presence
Houston, TX – April 26, 2022 – Specialist Staffing Group, a US division of SThree plc, the leading provider of talent and consulting to the life sciences, energy, and technology sectors, today announced that it has hired Dan Turner as Chief Operation Officer (COO), SThree Americas. Turner brings more than 20 years of IT recruiting experience to the role, including over two decades of experience in the STEM specialty staffing industry. As COO, he will provide vision, strategy, leadership and direction to SThree’s operations management teams.
Turner will focus on ensuring that the organization has the appropriate systems, infrastructures, data, and controls in place to deliver against its strategic goals for continued and sustained success. This includes leading overarching strategies for operations across North America to drive transformational change through operations and technology.

Prior to joining SThree, Turner served as Chief Recruiting Officer at Kelly Science, Engineering, Technology & Telecom (SETT) where he was responsible for recruiting strategy and execution of Kelly’s SETT organization, a specialty provider of science, engineering, technology and telecom talent and solutions. He also held the role of President of Centralized Recruiting at Kelly Services.
Before joining Kelly, Turner was Vice President and Market President at Kforce. While there, he built the company’s first-ever National Recruiting Center (NRC), optimizing efficiency and increasing revenue contribution 15x in less than three years. Under his leadership, his region nearly tripled its revenue in six years and earned the number one revenue-generating region in the company.
