Progressive Makes SIA's 2021 Largest Engineering Staffing Firms List

For the sixth consecutive year, Progressive has landed on Staffing Industry Analysts' (SIA) list for Largest Engineering Staffing Firms in the US, coming in at number 13.

Although Progressive's ranking remains unchanged from the previous year's list, the brand grew by double digits in 2021, despite unpredictable market conditions.

“It is an honor to be recognized by SIA. This achievement reflects the exceptional service that our consultants and core function teams provide to our customers,” said Executive Vice President, Matt Mcmanus. “We’ve started 2022 stronger than any previous year, and this distinction from SIA reaffirms our mission to become a top-five engineering staffing provider by 2024.”

The brand attributes much of its success to being at the center of global megatrends, including clean energy, sustainability, automation, and industry 4.0. As a result, Progressive has started the fiscal year with a contract order book that is up 30% YoY, the strongest start the brand has ever had.

SIA’s lists are ranked by revenue and includes companies that have yielded a minimum of $25 million in revenue during the previous year.

Celebrating Black History Month, we want to highlight some African American Professionals in Engineering. Alexander Miles was an African American Inventor who created the automatic elevator door in 1887. His invention ✨ opened the door ✨ for people of color in the engineering space and he was inducted into the National Inventors Hall of Fame in 2007. At Progressive Recruitment, we aim to drive equality in STEM careers, through our STEM Equity Coalition which works to change the STEM landscape for underrepresented people.
