We are looking for a Data Modeller!

The work you do will impact your team and your internal and external stakeholders, and ultimately also the client servicing process and therefore the bank's core business.
What you are going to do;
- As a Data Modeller you'll need to ensure that the data requests from stakeholders are clearly defined, understood, and assess from which sources the data can be derived. From there on you drive the ETL processes;
- You support the data analysis by translating requests for data into a LDM and code, combining several sources, beating data into shape. Support the remediation of data where needed;
- Build and/or support the data delivery processes;
- Support regular updates and maintenance of model data sets and LDM's;
- You'll need to have the skills and personality to act as an advisor and lead the way for your colleagues and guide them towards the goals you have agreed to achieve.
A track-record to fit in perfectly
- 10 -15 relevant banking experience within the financial industries sector
- You have strong analytical and conceptual skills and you have gained experience in working with large volumes of data in complex data structures (untransparent, low quality). MS SQL code is a must have, some Python is helpful too.
- Good communication skills in English/Dutch
- You have a Master degree in a quantitative field or IT, or Finance/Economics
- Banking knowledge is preferred, especially of credit risk, financial markets and corporate banking products and processes, and how this is translated into data flows
