This is an Outside Sales role responsible for driving Sensors sales growth:

Become the trusted Sensors Specialist for Inductive, Photoelectric, Capacitive, Limit Switch, Pressure, , Ultrasonic, RFID, Machine Safety and accessories.
Maintain existing customer relations and develop new ones in strategic OEM Targeted Accounts.
Increase mind share with our Distributor Channel Partners through regular engagement, product trainings, joint sales calls, promotional events and solving their customers problems.
You will collaborate with all internal & external business stakeholders that will maximize the chances of win projects with (OEMs, End Users and Distributors).
Proactively discover new application opportunities and efficiently move existing ones from Discovery to Closure in the Sales Funnel.
This position reports to the Sensors Cluster Leader. Occasional travel for internal meetings, product training and Industry trade shows is required. Opportunity to Travel for training and factory engagement.
Quickly follow up on and engage all application inquiries and other leads.
Learn about and promote New Products.




Preferred Qualifications and Competencies

College Degree in Business or Engineering.
Minimum 5 yrs experience in solution selling and account management in Industrial Automation to OEMs, Channel and End Users preferably for Sensors.
An aggressive self-starter with a conscience who can thrive on limited supervision and get the job done working from a home office environment.
Laptop proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel and Power Point.
Familiarity with Salesforce our CRM for account contact information, recording activity and opportunity funnel management.
Road Warrior mentality capable of managing a sizeable territory and eager to travel greater than 50% of the time via car and commercial air.
Experience with various sensor technologies a plus!
