Sales Director (PR-34068314)
We are Japanese subsidiary of German engineering company specialized in vibration control systems and currently looking for Sales Director who could strongly support representative director of Japan as a second position in the company. Due to business success and for further expansion of the business, we are urgently looking for the strong passionate candidate. Roles & Responsibilities:
・ Drive technical projects for vibration control systems embedded for Japan region with new and existing customers mainly from Building, Railway, Plants and Machineries industry.
・ Optimize technical proposals / quotations working closely with German HQ and local support team.
・ Profitably and consistently exceed revenue targets and quotas.
・ Develop strong, trusted relationships with key customers and partners through relationship building, technical competence, strong listening skills, and a genuine passion to guide their success.
・ Execute market research where our products and services could be delivered and plan sales strategy/plans for new selling areas/applications.
・ Providing accurate sales forecasts that will be a key factor in overall company planning.
・ Being a highly valued, contributing member of the Japan Sales Team, representing the company well to customers, prospects and industry leaders.
・ Assist representative director of Japan and work closely with German headquarters in terms of both technical and commercial topics to drive new business opportunities together.
・ Increase the customer base, customer loyalty, revenue per customer and top-line financial growth for the Japanese market.
・ Ensure a long-term competitive edge through a value-added approach to prospects and customers.
・ Be a role model for other staff working in the office and lead /teach subordinates.
Education & Experience:
・ Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Engineering (Mechanical or Civil preferred).
・ 10+ years of demonstrated success in sales.
・ 3+ years of team management experience.
・ Familiarity with either mechanical, structural or civil engineering.
・ An excellent communicator within a team as well as with customers over email and face to face.
・ High level of appropriate technical and soft skills for effective negotiation and representation in sales.
・ Demonstrated success in consultative sales, selling into either Building, Railway, Plants or Machineries industry.
・ Exceptional relationship-building skills.
・ Understands that face-to-face interaction with our prospects is required and is prepared to travel 25-50% of the time.
・ Competent in the use of SalesForce CRM system.
・ Business level English, Native Japanese language skills required.
