Responsible for worldwide Industrial Automation Human Machine Interface (HMI) Offer Quality and Project Quality in order to continuously improve Quality Performance and Customer Satisfaction on existing and future product lines, systems and solutions.



Main tasks and responsibilities

Responsible for HMI Offer Quality and Project Quality
Drive the continuous Offer Quality Performance Improvement on the designated product families
Make sure the relevant Information is extracted out of the big data in order to be able to decide improvement actions on the existing offer in the right priority, set the quality targets, and achieve the target for offer in charge.
* Freedom on the way to achieve the given annual goals and targets considering
the tools given.

Act as a counterpart for Customer Expert Support to execute structured problem-solving methodologies
Interface and collaborate with the connected Manufacturing Sites on a regular basis (Dir_Q32) to align and agree on improvement actions
Contribute to the PEP inside the related BoCs to represent Quality / Customers
Solve product quality issues from root cause analysis over containment and operational actions up to systemic root cause and prevention
Ensures effectiveness of quality improvement and drives follow-up with factories. Set-up the surveillance plan and make sure of timely execution.
Ensure proper application of reference processes (PEP, Quality alert,...).
Monthly reporting to Senior Manager Offer and Project/Product Quality


Qualifications

Post graduate degree / Masters - 5 years
5 years of experience in leader position: marketing leader, project manager, supply chain leader, R&D leader
Automation product knowledge and/or Software recommended: HMI, iPC, PLC, etc...
Languages:
English (business)
Japanese (business)
Chinese (optional but it is an advantage)
Communication capabilities (logical thinking, listening, written and verbal communication) and multicultural skills
Strong influencing skills, leadership with passion
Expertise

Quality methods (8D, 5 Why, Pareto, Isochronous, FMEA, risk analysis, …)
OCP (PMP, PEP, Agile) and Quality Processes
Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe)
Statistics / Six Sigma
Office tools like Teams, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc
