Global Electronics Manufacturer for B2B markets is looking for a Senior Engineer to join the Project management team for new production management

Goal of this role

• In charge of (scope/schedule/cost) and cross-functional communication between departments to release new products

Scope of the role

• Bridge the global product management & development/manufacturing teams.

• This position requires consistent contact and communication with all levels of relevant stakeholders.

• This person will be accountable for project management phase review/closure decisions.

• This person will support the realization of program revenue by meeting project schedules and managing scope/schedule/cost expectations.

• This person will be responsible for achieving profit growth goals by helping to realize program revenue by meeting the project schedule and managing scope/schedule/cost expectations.

Responsibilities

• Exercise the Product Development Process and lead projects to fulfill commitments to customers.

• Seek ways to improve the project and comply with customer requirements and compliance.

• Seek ways to improve projects to meet customer requirements and compliance.

• Coordinate among multiple Global sites to convert and organize complex data into a clear and actionable work analysis structure

• Work with various manufacturing sites, plants and MIEs to develop and deliver tooling strategies to achieve KPIs.

• Review/determine key project milestones to mitigate project scope/schedule/cost risk to meet customer requirements.

• Responsible for facilitating critical project milestone reviews/decisions (especially change management) to mitigate project scope/schedule/cost risk to meet client requirements.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience as a PM

• Experience working on new product development from early development through product release (understanding of the general process)

• English and Japanese level business above

• Knowledge and experience in product design is preferred but not a must
