Job Description:
We currently have a great opportunity for the right person to join our team as BMS/EPMS Applications Engineer.
The successful Applications Engineer will manage a portfolio of data centre projects from order to completion. Efficient and effective delivery of projects to ensure customer requirements are met and maximising of customer satisfaction, sales and margin
What will you do?
To develop application standards using SmartStruxure Solution Function Block and/or Scripting languages.
Review functional specifications, plans and scope of work to design system
Research existing or specified mechanical/Electrical systems to determine best integration of control system.
To incorporate best practices and utilise recognised Industry standards where ever possible.
To document & test all application standards and adhere to our software qualification process.
To work as part of a team and also prepared to take ownership of problems and research to find resolutions.
To work to existing procedures and assist in setting and establishing new improved operating procedures.
Communicate at all times as necessary with the Customer, inter-company departments and staff to ensure that the daily tasks are completed in accordance with the requirement, and customer satisfaction is achieved.
Qualifications
What qualifications will make you successful?
You will be educated in Mechanical, EIectrical/Electronic Engineering with proven experience within energy solutions, preferably with experience of HVAC, BMS (Building Management Solutions) and/or Data Centres. Extensive technical development experience and technical knowledge of Schneider or third party technical solutions is preferable.
