Business Development Manager (Solutions & Services)


Responsible for leading the commercial and marketing effort for S&S front-log opportunities, with heavy emphasis on senior customer buying influences and locations.
Consistent interaction with sales team and commercial support team is required to drive account strategy development and execution. The BDM is expected to be an accelerant in moving opportunities to closure.
Apply knowledge of products, pricing plans, competition, marketing objectives, sales objectives and sales skills to sell S&S solutions.


Key Responsibility
DO
- Lead the effort to analyze assigned accounts and develop an account penetration strategy and execution tactics to increase customer share.
- Drive customer business commitment through goal shared objectives and broad adoption of products and services seek no equal specifications and mutually valuable, multi-year corporate agreements.
- Work with sales and commercial support team to assure account coverage and assist sales resources to drive customer share.
- Update assigned accounts on new products and technology as related to customer needs.
- Be bridges to build good relationship with Sales and other divisions. Prioritize quote request from Sales and get them understand deeply and manage process until submission proposal to Sales.
- Diagnose, document, and solve customer problems with Automation solutions. Where possible extract and validate actual solution value delivered, and pave the way for value propositions.
- Leverage and guide S&S resources to provide appropriate commercial and technical expertise to the customer.
- Coordinate with channels on account strategy as necessary.
- Coordinate other product business unit resources as necessary to resolve problems involving pricing, product specifications, warranties and product modifications.
- Provide technical or commercial support to the team at region level.
- Analyze trends and strategies of competitors. Report conclusions to the business manager.
- Need to be a self-starter to grasp proactively unknown information by him/herself and behavior/communication skill with various stakeholder that to continue/proceed good relationship between S&S and others as well.

- Front log figure of S&S team relevant to focused industry & application assigned
- Solution development in S&S team
- Focalization, strength & weakness of S&S solutions
- RA relationship with key accounts
Educational Qualifications / Work Experience / Behavior - Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or equivalent.
- Minimum of 10 years Marketing, Sales, Engineering, and/or Project Management experience in the Industrial Automation / Process industry
- English : Business Level
- Strong ownership / Passion for new business / Toughness for driving business in unclear status
