Application Engineer (PR-34033372)

Job Responsibilities

• Engage with Japanese customers for electrical and mechanical applications.
• Develop new product and process knowledge to support new segment investigations.
• Communicate frequently with relevant Global Tech Centers and Plants.
• Analyze product specifications and technical requirements based on customer input.
• Lead DVP&R communication to OEMs and coordinate with other functional areas for validation, release, quality, and manufacturing support.
• Support D-FMEA based on customer requirements.
• Provide engineering support for product development, field, 0km claims, and experimental services to both suppliers and customers.
• Hold a Bachelor's degree or above in electrical/mechanical engineering.
• Possess at least 3 years of working experience in automotive, electric/mechanical technology development, or application.
• Have strong organizational skills, including prioritization, team leadership, handling multiple projects, and meeting deadlines.
• Be familiar with the automotive industry's procedures and workflow cycles.
• Possess knowledge of thermal management.
• Have familiarity with ASPICE, FuSa, EMC, and quality specifications (IATF16949).
• Be proficient in MS Office and SAP R/3.
• Possess professional verbal and written communication skills in English and preferably in Japanese.
• Demonstrate a customer-oriented approach, strong functional/technical skills, problem-solving ability, process management skills, organizational agility, action-oriented mindset towards driving results, and timely decision-making ability.

Candidate Profile
