Yuji experienced a six-month internship at a company started by a SONY graduate during his university years, and after graduating, he started to work for the Japanese subsidiary of BOSCH, a major player in the automotive industry.
He then moved into the recruitment industry and has been involved in the recruitment business for over 10 years in Japan and Singapore, helping to recruit in over 10 countries. His expertise within recruitment lies within all industries and levels, working with Japanese companies on their overseas expansion, and with foreign companies on their Japan expansion.
His first job was at a manufacturer, so he has a passion for manufacturing despite his background in recruitment. As the Energy and Engineering industry has been undergoing a period of great change, he has been passionate about the industry and committed to assisting companies with their recruitment and organizational development, as well as providing candidates with the best possible career opportunities.
Cody grew up in the U.S. He joined the Army during university for Military Intelligence. While in the military, he established his own business and then joined Verizon communications as a Sales & Marketing Manager to grow the market share in the Southeast United States.
He moved to Japan in 2014 and has been working with top global brands for recruitment and management. He covers the Manufacturing division of recruitment, specializing in – Automation, Robotics, IoT, Industrial 4.0, Sustainable Energy.
Originally from Germany, Pierre came to Japan in 2018 and joined the biggest Japanese HR staffing and media company, where he worked for 3.5 years in the IoT, Automation, and Robotics field before joining Progressive Recruitment in October 2021. Pierre is mainly recruiting for Application & Service engineer roles but is also handling sales roles. He works very detailedly and you can expect a high service level with good information and support all along the way. He has good connections with German Industrial companies, so if you are interested in a German company, please feel free to contact him.
Originally from Sri Lanka, Dee is a specialist recruiter with recruitment experience within the Japanese renewable energy market, working with a range of both global and domestic leading companies. During his career, he has developed valuable and long-lasting relationships with clients and candidates by accurately understanding and matching what both parties are looking for. He is specialized in contract and permanent recruitment across the offshore/onshore wind, solar, and hydrogen industries.
After graduating from high school, Yoshinori enrolled in a Chinese university. He skipped a grade, then graduated from university and continued working as a freelance interpreter/translator between China and Japan which he started while he was at the university. Three years later, he joined one of the world's largest integrated recruitment agencies to improve his sales skills. As a temporary staffing business sales representative, he helped domestic IT infrastructure companies recruit and retain human resources.
Since he was a child, he has been interested in poverty, which is one of the 17 SDGs, and wanted to support it through his own business. He is passionate about helping companies in the energy industry with their recruitment and organizational structures, and at the same time helping candidates to develop their careers to a higher level.
Yuki completed his Bachelor of Arts at Yokohama National University in 2021. While studying at the university, he was doing several internships at embassies and NPOs as well as IT start-ups. He was born and lived in Venezuela until 2016 when he came to Japan. Outside of work, he likes sports and meeting new people.
He joined SThree in August 2021, and has learned a lot from his colleagues, as his first job, it has been quite challenging but at the same time, his colleagues have supported him all the way up. Currently, he is focusing on Renewable energy and Engineering sector companies and positions. Providing job opportunities that match with not only past experiences and skills but with future goals and interests is what he loves to do.

Abdullah Al came to Japan right after he completed high school in Bangladesh back in 2016.
During his university, he had the opportunity to intern at Mitsubishi Fuso Bus and Truck corporation and thus began his foray into the world of manufacturing/automotive.
After graduation from university, he joined Nikon-Trimble, where he worked with precision measurement technology and GPS/GNSS enabled devices that go towards the development of Autonomous driving technology.
He has always been fascinated by automobiles, and even more so during the recent revolution of autonomous driving and electric vehicle, the opportunities within this space is ever-growing.
He is currently supporting domestic and foreign-affiliated companies in the automotive space. Feel free to reach out, he would be more than happy to discuss your career and share market information.
As we have entered the fourth industrial revolution, and the future is upon us in the form of AI, Machine Learning, and ADAS solutions, he looks forward to supporting clients and candidates alike in the automotive space.
Before starting his career as a recruiter, Taishi was a professional futsal player for about 5 years in total, in Italy for 2 years and Japan for 3 years. Retired due to a knee injury, he changed a job to a major foreign temporary staffing company and was responsible for IT infrastructure recruitment.
Currently, he is in charge of the renewable energy industry and as a consultant, he provides you with latest industry information.
Not only does he introduce jobs but also he listens to the candidate's background carefully and guide them to the companies that can achieve their goals. He also helps with support in the hiring process from document correction, pre-interview preparation, follow-up, negotiation of offer conditions to gathering any information needed.
After graduating from university, Takahito joined the Tokyo Fire Department. As a frontline firefighter, he dispatched to fire, rescue and emergency scenes and have faced countless lives. Later, he worked as a field commander, directing all firefighting units on the scene and running the scene. He has now moved into the recruitment industry, specialising in the energy and engineering industry.
He is delighted to be able to change his mission from facing people's lives to facing people's lives and creating irreplaceable lives for people. We will support you in the form of recruitment to make your corporate life and the lives of your candidates better.
After graduating from high school, Mari went to university in the USA to become a person who could contribute to the global expansion of the Japanese beauty industry. Returned to Japan after graduation, she started her career as an esthetician at the company of a respected female businesswoman, where she won the Newcomer of the Year Award.
After that, she worked as a community manager for a flexible office as her second career, managing and selling two business centres in Sapporo. Upon returning to her hometown of Kanagawa, she now works for Progressive Recruitment specialising in the manufacturing sector and in charge of the positions in automation, IoT and Industrial 4.0.
