Meet our panellists
We are delighted to introduce our expert panelists Dimitra Christakou and Shaun Vyfhuis from WISE campaign. WISE is a Community Interest Company which provides Business to Business (B2B) services to get more women into all levels of science, technology, engineering and maths (STEM) roles. Gender balance in STEM benefits the individual, company performance and the economy. WISE’s unique, data-driven programme can help you to build a more diverse, inclusive, and accessible company. Commercial & Services Director
Dimitra joined WISE in April 2017 to support WISE’s efforts to increase women’s participation contribution in STEM. She brings along a strong background in leading revenue and relationship management teams combined with lengthy experience in designing though leading services.
Dimitra is also the co-founder and director of Sustainable Blueprints, an intellectual property and strategic analysis consulting firm. In the past, she was the Head of Water Insight Services at Bloomberg New Energy Finance responsible for the product’s overall strategy and direction, and a global team of water analysts. Also, she has held positions at Accenture and the Corporate Finance Practice of the Corporate Executive Board.
She received her Bachelors degree in Physics from the University of Crete in Greece. Dimitra holds an MSc in Environmental Technology from Imperial College of London and an MBA from London Business School.
Business Development Manager
Shaun joined WISE in March 2021 as our Business Development Manager. He has over 15 years of Sales and Business Development experience behind him working with clients within the Private and Public sectors. With a passion for knowledge sharing, Shaun can take complex information and delivering it clearly and succinctly. This ensures what has been promised will be delivered.
Working closely with the Development Team and Marketing Manager, Shaun’s focus is to build the relationships between WISE, new and existing strategic partners and event sponsors whilst raising awareness of the importance of employing women in STEM roles and the value they add to the workforce.
Customer Success Business Partner
Sarah is a Client Business Partner at Progressive (part of the SThree Group) with extensive knowledge of the Engineering and Tech space. She is focused on building long lasting and valued relationships with our current customers, understanding their challenges and ambitions and supporting them to develop their strategies around talent.
Sarah is part of the Customer Success Function who work across the STEM sector in the UK&I. She has experience of hosting events and building networks, focused on bringing skilled people together to build the future.
