Senior Data Warehouse Developer - 6 month contract - Brisbane CBD

Progressive, in partnership with one of our clients are currently on the lookout for a Senior Data Warehouse Developer. Working in an agile business team with demonstrable knowledge of continuous delivery practices, you will be joining an established business team to build real time reactive pipelines and traditional data warehouses. You will be responsible for the full software life cycle of development of the business's data warehouse as well as the development of logical data models and ETL processes.

The client are looking for someone who can come in and hit the ground running, and as a contractor you will be expected to join with an inquisitive and capable attitude towards work.

Role: Senior Data Warehouse Developer

Location: Brisbane CBD

Tenure: 6 month contract

Essential skills and requirements:

  1. Accredited tertiary qualifications in a relevant field
  2. 5+ years' technical experience in the following;
    • ETL Tools - Informatica, SSIS and Talend (preferred)
    • Teradata Data Warehouse
    • Microsoft SQL Server, SSRS and SSAS
    • Spark
    • Python
    • Java
    • AWS cloud experience (preferred)
    • Agile tools - JIRA, Confluence and GitHub
  1. Prior work experience with Data Warehousing
  2. Advanced PC skills (Visio, Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project)

Nice to have:

  1. Previous experience with large data migration projects will be highly regarded
  2. Tableau knowledge
  3. Kafka knowledge and working experience is exceptionally regarded
