Quality Engineer (PR-34150233)
I am looking for a Quality Engineer to support a client on HPC for 12 months.
We are looking for profiles who have worked on previously heavy fabrication project.
You will be working as PAYE £37.10 p/h up to 50/60 hours a week
Key duties and responsibilities ;
* Support engineering and operations to achieve product Reducing the potential for scrap and rework, working to 'right first time.'
* Facilitate Non conformance investigation, root cause analysis and reporting.
* Create and maintain Quality Plans / Inspection & Test Plans in accordance with project requirements.
* Facilitate internal, customer and 3rd party audits.
* Review and approve life time records / manufacturing data books.
* Conduct i audits in accordance with the business unit audit schedule.
Experience
* Previous experience in a similar QA/QC role
Skills
* Fabrication and welding background would be advantageous.
* Competent with managing timescales.
* Proactive and logical approach to problem solving and continuous improvement.
* Knowledge ISO9001.
The role :
* Working pattern is 10 days work, 4 days off (Tuesday- Thursday the following week).
* Accommodation paid for on site, breakfast and evening meal provided.
* Sick Pay
* 25 day holiday allowance plus bank holidays a year
* Up to 8% pension contribution
* 6 month rolling contract
