We are looking for a reliable and dynamic Project Manager to lead and manage capital projects in a timely and cost-effective manner.

Here is a little bit about the role:
Location: Hull
Contract length: 6-12 months
IR35 status being determined
On-site (1-2 days working from home possibility)
Start date: ASAP

Requirements:

  • Experience working at chemical, petrochemical, or oil & gas sectors
  • Experience working at top tier COMAH site
  • Advanced knowledge of project management processes, means and methods
  • Expert knowledge of relevant rules, regulations and quality standards
  • Competent in conflict and crisis management
  • Excellent time and project management skills
  • Exceptional technical and problem-solving skills and reasoning ability

Key responsibilities:

  • Co-ordinate the project team to keep them on track and keeping the projects on budget and schedule
  • Review the project in-depth to schedule deliverables and estimate costs
  • Review the work progress daily
  • Prepare internal and external reports pertaining to project status
  • Ensure risks are analysed, managed and mitigated
  • Initiate the project - check feasibility, budgets, teams and resources
  • Managing client relationships and tracking project performance.
  • Report regularly into the management team on status and latest risk register, supporting the operations leadership to successfully execute capital projects
  • Ensure the ABS capital efficiency framework and minimum requirements are adhered to.
  • Ensure the clients Engineering standards are adhered to and all work meets the latest and relevant legislation.
