Same commute again is it? You know every billboard, every traffic light.

That same bloke who always drives 10mph under the speed limit.

Your mind starts to drift... What if you could be doing this same job, but in Scandinavia or New Zealand...

As a Control Systems Commissioning Engineer, you will have the chance to work on different scales of projects, from simple production lines to complete fully automatic manufacturing plants. You will use your exposure in fault finding/modifications to program PLCs in Allen Bradley and Siemens to ensure that the customer's needs are met with high-quality solutions.

You will also have the freedom to manage your own workload, with the support of your Manager when needed. You will be part of a friendly and supportive team where there is opportunity to grow your career and take on more responsibilities within the company.

You will travel around 75% of the time, visiting amazing places like Norway, Denmark and New Zealand. The rest of the time, you can work from home or from the office in Glossop which is a stone's throw away from the Peak district, depending on the project requirements.

There will be some scope for overtime however, work life balance is an important value in the business and generally this is aimed to be kept to the minimum. On the travel front, many of the Engineers end up tagging on a few days holiday to their trips especially long haul which is great if you fancy checking off a few to see sights on your bucket list!

You will be rewarded with a total salary package up to £50,000 per annum, plus 23 days holiday, pension and further opportunities for technical development. To apply for this role, you need to have at least 1 year of industry experience after your qualifications, and be a UK resident with no sponsorship requirements.

Unsure if you have all the skills?

No worries, pop your CV across and we can arrange a further conversation.
