Mechanical Design Engineer (PR-34108904)

I am looking for a Mechanical Engineer to join a client of mine on a new contract role. The company have recently partnered with a leading tier 1 automotive business and have undertaken a number of projects which they require assistance with.

The role is for a mechanical engineer to join the team on an initial 6 month basis where you will be working directly on the design of various engine system designs and battery cooling systems.

Job Type: Contract
Duration: 6 months
Location: Swindon (with travel to client site 1 day every 2 weeks & 1 day remote per week)
Rate: £35-£45 per hour outside IR35

Skills needed:

* Experience within the Automotive field and tier 1 companies
* DFMEA, Functional analysis experience
* GD&T
* Knowledge of working with engines or Cooling Systems or batteries is desirable.
