Manufacturing Engineer HPC Contract PAYE (PR-34045877)
Our client manufactures and installs high integrity, RCC-M nuclear standard stainless steel and titanium components as well as thermal insulation systems and are supplying Hinkley Point C with several large stainless steel pond/pool liners, tanks and vessels.
They're looking for a Manufacturing Engineer to join the team on site and contribute directly to the success of the project
Summary
Plan, direct and coordinate manufacturing processes. Works closely with Design Engineers within the business in coordinating the issue of new products. Estimates manufacturing costs, makes recommendations for tooling and process requirements and agrees time standards, and maintains records and recording systems for coordination of manufacturing operations.
Experience
* Previous experience in similar engineering role
* Competent with managing timescales and cost budgets
* Experience reading and interpreting engineering drawings
Qualifications
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required.
* Engineering Degree in Manufacturing Engineering, or relevant Engineering discipline, or qualified by experience
* Technical HNC/ONC Qualified desirable
Details
* Contract length 12 months
* Rate £30 p/h PAYE
* All candidates who go through will need to provide references & be subject to baseline security check
Rotation is 10 on 4 off and is based on a 12 hour shift pattern
28 days holiday, 8% Pension contribution and accommodation on site is included
