Role: Change Manager (New Ways of Working, People Readiness)

Length: 6 - 7 Months

Location: Melbourne CBD

Progressive, in Partnership with one of our key clients in Melbourne are currently searching for a Change Manager/Change Lead. This contract is available for an immediate start and will take you through to the end of June 2020.

Roles and responsibilities:

  • Work with the Business Change Director to deploy resources in partnership with the EPMO
  • Work with the Business Change Director to manage the performance of both internal and external resources in adherence to and in compliance with the framework, including completing performance reviews for line reports where applicable
  • Support, mentor and coach direct line reports to successful project outcome and adherence to the Organisational Change Practice framework
  • Lead, inspire, motivate, and support the organisational change capability and culture
  • Establish, support and promote a team culture within Business Design & Change
  • Think globally about change impact to the business within the context of the program
  • Ensure sustainable change occurs by understanding the requirements of the business and ensuring key areas are operationally ready for program implementation
  • Plan interim solution models for the program that support the business through transitional processes
  • Identify barriers to the business initiative and develop program change strategies, plans and schedules to effectively overcome these barriers
  • Have operational accountability for developing and managing the consistent delivery of the Program Change Management Plan on time, within budget and to appropriate quality standard, ensuring project change plans roll up

Essential requirements:

  • A relevant tertiary qualification in an area such as Organisational Change and Development, Organisation Behaviour, Learning and Development, business or commerce or equivalent workplace experience
  • Minimum of 7 years proven organisational change management experience gained on a range of large scale projects or programs
  • Experience working in large, complex environments
  • Experience in interacting with executive & senior management
  • Experience in leading and managing resources in a matrix structure
  • Superior interpersonal, communication, negotiation and facilitation skills
  • Preferred:
  • Experience working within the Financial Services/Life Insurance industry
  • A post-graduate qualification (i.e. post graduate diploma, degree, master's
