You have a perfect opportunity here to gain experience in the fastest developing markets in the sector, without needing to relocate away from the UK. Add Asia-Pacific and North American project strings to your bow.

You'd be working for a company whose growth over the past five years has been the stuff of dreams. They've expanded around the globe taking on some of the largest data centres outside of US/China, to become one of the top hyperscale DC businesses in the world.

This scale means you'd be able to work on some of the most challenging and innovative projects out there. You would be given the authority to directly drive tangible results and empowered to make high-impact decisions.

The team you'll be a part of drives the technology, innovation and new development of data centre infrastructure across planet. You'll be a Subject Matter Expert across the entire project lifecycle from concept to commissioning.

Your role as a Lead Mechanical Engineer will of course focus on Mechanical infrastructure. You'll be resolving complex engineering challenges and architect mechanical systems whilst implementing emerging technologies.

This is an ideal chance to develop your knowledge of international engineering standards and of course get a few more stamps on your passport when you're doing field investigations & coordination meetings. You can expect around 15-25% travel in the role.

You'll be part of an elite team of 3-4 Principal Engineers spread across the different global regions, so you'll frequently have early morning/late evening meeting across timezones.

Aside from this there will be a lot of flexibility to manage your working hours as you see fit. This is an output-based role. Most engineers here do 2 days a week in their London office, but if you can only be in once or twice a month then that can work too.

You'll be part of a very collaborative working environment where you need to think fast, and you'll learn fast. Funding for relevant training is no issue and your travel allowances are not limited, but just done on a common-sense trust basis.

The career growth opportunities here are tremendous, with the freedom to take a range of different career paths, which will only grow as the business does.

You'll need to be highly experienced in the design of critical power infrastructure as your expertise will be put to good use here.

You'll be provided with a salary up to £100,000 plus 5% bonus, 7% pension, 25 days holidays, income protection, life assurance x 4 and private medical covering you and your family.

A similar role which is purely focused on EMEA roles, with more standard working hours is also available.
