Progressive Global Energy is recruiting for a Large Oil & Gas Operator for a Senior Air Quality Engineer. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a growing company in The Woodlands, TX(greater Houston) and also hiring for Denver, CO! Looking for Air Professionals that have extensive experience consulting for Operators.

This is a full-time, long-term contract that will be written for 6-9 months and will go direct hire due to current professional retiring. The schedule is 9/80 with about a 50 hour work week and every other Friday off. We offer very competitive hourly rates with full benefits to our contract employees: medical, dental, vision, 401k, PTO, etc. Looking for someone to start in January 2020 but interview the week of December 9th to set up before the holidays.

Woodlands Specific:

  • 5 - 10+ years of experience
  • Consulting and Operator Experience
  • Air quality, Permitting, Compliance, PSD
  • Operator Experience: Any Upstream or Midstream(refinery could be okay as well)
  • Experience with air quality compliance reporting, notifications, and submittals
  • Engineering Degree preferred
  • Knowledge/Understanding of Key Terms: JJJJ, ZZZZ, OOOOa, OOOO, HH, Standard Permit, PSD, Non Rule Standard Permit, Title V Permit, Title V Compliance, Non-attainment, NAAQS, NSPS, NESHAP, GHG, Subpart W, Gas Plants, Compressor Stations, Refinery, Agency, Inspections, TCEQ, NMED, Clean Air Act, Leak Detection and Repair, Emissions, Emissions Inventory, Permit, Calculations, Application.
  • Able to work with others well in a team environment
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Able to work with a team of 10-15 engineers
  • Able to handle multiple projects and priorities simultaneously

Denver Specific:

  • 5+ years' experience
  • Consulting Experience
  • Air quality, SQL, Excel, Midstream
  • Emissions Inventory
  • Role: Taking on continuous tasks to build compliance programs within air quality while working with operations and engineering
  • Daily Projects: Regulatory reporting, agency record requests, inspections with agencies, leak and repair programs, emission inventory, greenhouse gas reporting across all different assests within the Rockies. Overall looking for someone with great experience in a few of these so they can assist the team in building compliance programs
  • Able to work with others well in a team environment, great communication skills
  • Able to work with a team of 3-4 engineers.
  • Independent, proactive, someone that can come in and hit the ground running
  • Able to handle multiple projects and priorities simultaneously
