Oil & Gas Report 2018

During Progressive’s event in the last Quarter of 2017, we covered key themes surrounding the skills market and the subsequent effect this has had, and will continue to have, on skills availability. This report aims to provide a further breakdown of sector specific findings.

Following this, we sent out surveys which were completed by local Oil and Gas professionals predominantly located in Aberdeen/shire. The respondents consisted of hiring managers and candidates, including both those in and out of work.

Our intention was to uncover the key trends in today’s market and pass on this evidence to the wider Oil and Gas population. This also sees a further aim of working with individuals and organisations to pro-actively tackle what will present a tough recruitment climate in the years to follow.
