Process engineer (gas) (PR-33912960)

For one of my clients in Louvain la Neuve, I'm currently looking for a Process Engineer specialized in gas processes.

Key responsibilities:

Centralize process knowledge

• Perform process simulations: modelling of thermo-dynamical processes and gas treatment processes

• Optimize industrial processes from inception through to start up and certification
• Make mathematical modeling of PFDs, reactors, heat exchangers and other equipment

Development of integrated solutions

• Translate process needs into technical specifications
• Integrate equipment/technical solutions in the overall plant design, working closely with internal/external clients, suppliers and other team members
• Completion of documentation to show and ensure compliance with both internal and external regulations and protocols

Develop best practices, routines and innovative solutions to improve quality of output

• Cost and time constraints
• Perform risk assessment following standards

Providing Support

• Assisting Process Technicians in troubleshooting in the event of a problem
• Presentation of data and reports;
• Continual evaluation of equipment and processes

Your profile:

• Around 5 years work experience in process engineering
• Knowledge in combustion, heat exchanges, gas treatment technologies
• Knowledge of process related standards
• Experience in of risk analysis following standards (HAZOP, AteX)
• Soft: AutoCAD/Draftsight, Office suite
• Bilingual: French, English
