Mechanical Project Engineer (PR-34083151)

For a client in Liège, we are looking for a Mechanical Project Engineer with a good understanding of P&IDs and Product processes.

Tasks :

• Application of the Design Process
• Coordination of internal and external design teams
• Preparation of RFQ packages for the Purchase department
• Technical negotiations and follow ups with Suppliers,
• Key point of contact for mechanical erection and commissioning advisors on site
• Technical risks assessments
• Application of internal standards and good practices

Profile :

• Electromecanical or mechanical engineer or equivalent
• Generalist profile with 2 or 3 years' experience in project execution
• Understanding of international codes and norms (mainly ASME, EN and ISO)
• Understanding of basic design of the products of the Business
• Understanding of P&ID's and product processes
• Ability to read mechanical and electrical drawings
• Mastery of English is essential, French is mandatory
