According to a survey by LaptopsDirect, 53% of people looking for a new role always consider the quality of a company’s tech, so the promise of working with the latest technology is actually one of the best perks a company can offer. This was considered more important than staff discounts and flexible working.
Many candidates would also be considerably put off if an organisation’s tech wasn’t up to scratch, with 34% claiming they would turn down an offer from a company with sub-par tech. According to Kirsty, “We often find that candidates are inquisitive about the type and quality of technology a company is using. Many candidates are eager to keep their skills up to date, and it’s essential they’re working with systems that allow this.”
Regardless of industry, technology is re-shaping the way we work. In order for professionals to be productive in their job, they need to have systems in place that allow them to work efficiently.
