Senior Recruitment Consultant
I am looking to hire a Senior recruiter to focus on the contract side of the DevOps and Cloud market across Australia. The job would suit someone who has at least 2 + years of experience recruiting talent within the DevOps, Cloud, or Infrastructure markets.
What can we offer you? The business has been in Australia 10 + years now and the strategy has always been to focus on 70% contract 30% perm. Meaning there are a lot of existing panels, terms and history with companies which makes the barriers to entry easier and our biggest billers in the office have consistently been contract. Previous hires have been able to come in and start building a book quickly. You also have an advantageous with us being an international business - quite often you can lean on relationships from Singapore/Japan/US when speaking with companies.
As you would expect we have monthly lunch clubs, quarterly incentives to the likes of Queenstown, Byron Bay, Whitsundays (before COVID-19 anyway). Because we are an international STEM specialist, we also have global and APAC super trips that our top billing Australian consultants have regularly attended flying to the likes of Vietnam and Colorado. There is also a good social side to the business, many are good friends outside the office.
What would we expect of you? We want you to have your own network of candidates, contractors and hiring managers that you would look to bring to the business. The expectation on you would be to deliver your first placement within 3 months, then consistently bill from then on.
A snapshot of your skill set would be:
- 2 + years' experience and a track record in the contract market within DevOps, Cloud, or Infrastructure space
- Experience building a contract book and managing your runners
- Experienced with hunting for work within existing panel accounts and winning new business
- Good personality, team orientated - perm and contract work closely together and pass leads
- A Good attitude and positive vibes daily
You will be joining the DevOps team which is a big focus for us to continue further our growth in adding additional head count to the team and our footprint within the Australia market.
