SPS Programmierer TIA / PLC Programmer (TIA) (m/w/d) (PR-34068831)

For a company in the field of plant construction for the automotive industry we are looking for freelance support in the following role

Control and automation technician / PLC programmer (m/f/d)

Your area of responsibility:

• You get the control technology of our assembly systems for the electric drive and battery production (rotor, battery pack, ...) up and running and are responsible for the control technology functionality of our automation solutions
• As a specialist in your subject area, you first test and optimize our control software on the virtual system in the office, continue this on the real machine during commissioning and hand over a fully functional assembly system to the end customer
• You configure controllers, HMIs, bus systems and interfaces into state-of-the-art sub-systems and contribute your expertise to the development and further development of our control technology
• You will lead your control technology team on site at our customers and be the customer's contact person in your area of expertise
• As the leader of a team, you will be involved in the development of our junior staff and in optimizing our structures

Your skills:

• Because of your many years of experience, you know how to master control technology challenges and get automation solutions up and running
• You are enthusiastic about PLC programming (preferably Siemens TIA) and feel at home in the automotive industry and with its suppliers
• Cohesion, teamwork, varied and demanding tasks as well as mutual success are what drive you. Due to your open nature, you manage to recognize and promote potential in the team
• You also know how to inspire your colleagues, pass on your specialist knowledge and advance tasks together in a team
• You are willing to spend a large amount of your working time together with your colleagues directly at our customers' site in order to bring our projects to a successful conclusion
• You speak fluent English

Parameters:

• Start: 24th or 31st July 2023
• Location: from start till end of year in Germany, Ulm area. In 2024 in Whitley, Yorkshire, England.
• Volume: full time
