Interim Compute Design Engineer (m/w/d) in Berlin gesucht (PR-34086368)

Zur Unterstützung meines Kunden in Berlin suche ich ab sofort einen Interim Compute Design Engineer (m/w/d).

Projekttätigkeiten:

• Implementation and design documentation for on-premise compute platforms
• Implement configuration with the on-premise cloud infrastructure
• Check compatibility with other technology stacks (network, storage, automation systems)
• Present design and design options
• Define requirements for orchestration process for network configuration
• Provide design and implementation for NetApp
• Design and implement server management systems, automated server OS (ESXI, Linux) build platforms
• Use design skills to ensure VMWare vCenter/ESXi implementation is compliant to EDP standards

Anforderungen:

• Knowledge of EDP architecture
• Engineering skills
• Ability to take a holistic view on the compute infrastructure end to end
• Technical knowledge around server hardware
• Virtualization (Vmware/KVM)
• Storage (NetApp)
• Experience in the architecture and design space
• DevOps competency (automated server build from bare metal to vCenter Compute Cluster integrated ESXi node
• *nix (RHEL, Ubuntu), RedHat products including RedHat Satellite, Ansible Automation Platform, IdM, Directory Server
• VMWare ESXi/vCenter, KVM, Hashicorp Packer, GitLab/GitHub, HPE/Dell servers and management solutions, NetApp Storage.
• Excellent documentation and communication skills

• Laufzeit: 3 Monate (Option auf Verlängerung)
• Einsatzort: Berlin, größtenteils Remote
